Microfluidic Technologies, Hybrid Solutions for Lab Workflow Automation

Mark Olde Riekerink, Senior Business Development Manager at Micronit will give a presentation at the IVAM Hightech Summit on Thursday 26 August.
With this presentation, he will provide insight into the dynamics and benefits of rapidly evolving microfluidic technologies that are driving innovation in life science and healthcare. 
During this presentation, Mark will show examples of hybrid solutions as well as recent technology developments for lab workflow automation that could have a significant impact on microfluidic applications in areas like genomics, single-cell analysis, and in vitro diagnostics.

About Mark Olde Riekerink

Mark Olde Riekerink received his Ph.D. degree in Polymer Chemistry and Biomaterials Research at the University of Twente (Enschede, The Netherlands) in 2001. From 2001 to 2007 he has been working at Philips Corporate R&D (Applied Technologies, Eindhoven) in several Semiconductor and Healthcare related projects. In 2007, he started working for Micronit Microfluidics as an R&D Project Manager. Since then, he has been mainly involved in the development of lab-on-a-chip microfluidic devices for Life Science applications. Currently, as Senior Business Development Manager, he is focusing on product developments in application areas like genomics and single-cell analysis.
