Fabrication of ultra small micrometer size holes has been very challenging in the
past but Micronit has now technology available that can do the job.
Using a special laser, holes of 4-50 μm can be fabricated with high aspect ratios.
These holes are significantly smaller compared to holes generated by micro drilling
or powderblasting techniques.
APPLICATIONS
Ultra small holes can be used in various area such as;
- MEMS packaging
- Patch clamping of cells
- Membrane applications
