Lab-on-a-Chip Kit 4515

Lab-on-a-Chip KitThe Micronit Lab-on-a-Chip Kit enables you to create your own lab-on-a-chip set-up. The kit facilitates the connection of glass microfluidic chips to standard laboratory equipment (such as a HPLC pump or a mass spectrometer) by its unique chip holder.

Micronit offers two types of the lab-on-a-chip kit:

  • Lab-on-a-Chip Microreactor Kit 4515
  • Lab-on-a-Chip Micromixer Kit 4515

Lab-on-a-chip kit 4515 contains:

Chip HolderChip Holder 4515

The unique design of the Micronit chip holder is engineered to make easy and fast fluidic interconnections between the microfluidic chip and the tubing. The holder gives robust, high-pressure fluidic connections (up to 100 bar) with a very low (near-zero) dead volume. The chip holder enables to work safely under high pressure. The material used is chemically inert and mechanically robust.

The Micronit chip holder is a logical choice for fluid interconnections!

The lab-on-a-chip kit is available in three configurations:

Nanoport Fused Silica Flat-Bottom Steel Flat-Bottom Teflon
For low dead volume applications and small chip volumes. Supplied with fused silica capillaries (375 µm OD, 150 µm ID). Guaranteed solid connection. Supplied with stainless steel tubing (1/16" OD,
250 µm ID).
Resistant to high temperatures; low friction. Supplied with teflon tubing (1/16" OD, 250 µm ID)

Every connection in the chip holder can be handled and tightened separately, making sure leak tight connections are realized in every configuration.

MicroreactorMicrofluidic chips
With 2 standard glass microreactor chips you can start your microfluidic experiments immediately after receipt of the lab-on-a-chip kit.

The lab-on-a-chip kit can also be used with customized chips. Contact us for more details.

Inverter frame
The inverter frame enables you to use the chip holder inverted with upright microscopes. This is particularly suitable with confocal microscopy.

Manual
The lab-on-a-chip kit contains a complete user manual, which explains step-by-step how to use the lab-on-a-chip kit and how to assemble and adjust the chip holder.

Lab-on-a-Chip Kit 4515 is normally in stock and can be ordered in the Micronit webshop. For technical specifications, please download the brochure below.
