Microneedles with ElectrodesJoint Research Projects: Neuroprobes

Within the scope of the joint research project Neuroprobes, Micronit has developed the second generation of glass microneedle arrays, equipped with locally insulated electrodes. The current set of microneedle arrays are equipped with needles that are up to 7.5 mm long and which have a cross section of 200 to 300 μm by 100 μm.      More . . . . .

Locally Insulated ElectrodesFeature Spotlight: Locally Insulated Electrodes

Electrodes embedded into a microfluidics chip can be used to make electrical contact with gas and fluids. Micronit has perfected a method to locally insulate these contact electrodes using a thin oxide layer on top of the electrodes. These electrodes can be useful for several applications, such as pumping and valving.     More . . . . .
