Micronit Microfluidics is a dynamic company located in Enschede, The Netherlands. Micronit designs, develops and manufactures microfluidic devices (lab-on-a-chip), for applications in biotechnology, pharmacy and chemistry. Our industrial customers are located worldwide, with a majority in Europe and the US.
Micronit focuses on the total development process of the microfluidic devices, from design to high-volume manufacturing. The products are manufactured in Micronit's own high-tech cleanroom facility. Micronit is a fast-growing organization with over 30 young enthusiastic employees. The culture is informal, but hard-working.
Internships / Practical Training / Masters Assignment
For our Research & Development department, Micronit is looking for dedicated people willing to do their practical training (stage) or masters assignment (afstudeeropdracht). Assignments can be related to the development of new applications of microfluidic chips and the study of fabrication processes. Example projects in the past were, for instance, the study of different microfluidic connections, the development of new techniques of glass micromachining and the design and development of a multi-stack microreactor.
We are looking for students studying for their bachelor's degree (HBO) or university level with a technical background.
